Microfluidic Analysis Devices
Sample pretreatment, derivatization reaction, and detection are all performed on a palm-sized device.
Electrochemiluminescence Spectrometry
This is an analytical method that combines the advantages of fluorescence spectroscopy and electrochemical measurement methods.
High-Speed Spectroelectrochemical Measurement
Applicable to analysis of chemical species with short life time or unstable substances.
Carbon Quantum Dots
This is a type of "green" quantum dots that are made of carbon and does not contain any harmful heavy metals indeed.
Single Molecule Observation/Analysis of Biomolecules
Observe/analysis life-support molecules including nucleic acids, enzymes, and antibodies in single-molecule level.
DNA/Gene Sensor
Various genes cause genetic diseases and illnesses can be easily and quickly examined.
PNAzyme
This is a kind of artificial nucleic acids prepared by one-pod synthesis with peptide enzyme units.



Our laboratory is one of the core-groups in the Department of Applied Chemistry (Functional Class), Faculty of Engineering, Kyushu University. Our staffs are in charge of lectures, exercises, and student experiments related to physical chemistry in the Applied Chemistry course. With this expertise, we are conducting research in analytical chemistry including environmental and biotechnology.
