Creation of Mutant Porphyrinoids
Advent of N-confused porphyrin has cast a new light on the porphyrin and porphyrin analog chemistry. We are interested in the creation of novel porphyrinoids that contain one or more "confused" pyrrole rings in the macrocyclic frameworks. The mutant porphyrinoids newly synthesized are expected to exhibit novel functions that cannot be realized by the standard porphyrin compounds. 。
