ICSM 2022 and 2nd EPSRC-JSPS Core-to-Core Grant Symposium on Frontiers in Organic Optoelectronics
The 2022 International Conference on the Science and Technology of Synthetic Metals (ICSM 2022) was held at the University of Glasgow, followed by JSPS core-to-core program in Edzell, where we learned a lot from researchers worldwide. Also, we presented our recent research progress in high-stability OLEDs and organic lasers. Furthermore, fruitful discussions were also conducted between core-to-core members to prospect the future development of optoelectronics. During this impressive journey, we all enjoyed the historical heritage and the beautiful natural scenery of Scotland.
Visiting the University of Queensland 2022
We had a short stay in the university of Queensland (UQ) for optical and electrical measurements about organic semiconductor lasers. The state of art equipments and researchers on the front lines in UQ provided us a lot of great experiments. We could extend our knowledge and perspective during this stay at UQ. Also , we were able to visit the Brisbane central city and learned the nature and culture in Australia.
Visiting St. Andrews University
We visited St. Andrews University (UK) for optical measurement on organic materials. Their equipment and knowledge are cutting edge, so we could get precious time, and enjoy our research. We also enjoy St. Andrews city in holiday. Although it is small city, there are many historical architecture and nature. Finally, we would like to appreciate for all to make this precious experience.
2019
Visiting the University of Queensland
We had a short stay in the University of Queensland for the optical measurements and gave a small talk.
FOSL2019
3rd Frontiers of Organic Semiconductor Lasers (3FOSL) was held in Brisbane. We shared our latest researches including not only organic lasers but also excitons in organic/hybrid materials such as thermally-activated delayed fluorescence or singlet fission. We all enjoyed exciting discussions and had a great time with all the participants.

EPSRC-JSPS Core to Core Grant Symposium on Frontiers in Organic Optoelectronics
The Organic Semiconductor Centre hosted a symposium on Frontiers in Organic Optoelectronics as part of our EPSRC-JSPS core to core grant which links our centre to leading centres at Kyoto and Kyushu Universities, as well as the Universities of Regensburg, Queensland, Mons and the Sorbonne. The photograph shows the speakers and organisers of the symposium.
